HR Manager / HR Business Partner, 12 month position with a leading company in Derry

Your new company
Hays are working on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in the North West to recruit a HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join their team. This is a 12 month position that offers hybrid working and a highly competitive salary.


Your new role
As HR Manager, you will be joining an established team and your key responsibilities will include HR Service Delivery - providing responsive, practical support to leaders and employees across 2 sites. Employee Relations & Absence Management - managing cases and ensuring processes align with statutory requirements and company policies. Recruitment & Talent Management - supporting site leadership with talent management, succession planning and training programs across all levels of the organisation. Compliance, Governance & Risk - owning and executing the UK HR compliance plan while ensuring all existing policies are kept up to date and implement new policies and procedures in accordance with changes to Northern Ireland and UK employment legislation. You will also Partner with leadership to embed the UK culture and wellbeing plan, including communications and workforce engagement activities, which drive a positive, sustainable culture.


What you'll need to succeed

As HR Manager / HR Business Partner, essentially, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role within a fast-paced environment. You will have CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher). Strong knowledge of UK and NI employment law and HR best practices. Proven ability to communicate confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have a legal right to work in the UK.
