HR Manager - Financial Services - London

Your new company

An established and growing financial services organisation based in London is seeking a strategic and experienced HR Manager to lead its HR function across UK and European operations. The company offers a collaborative and inclusive working environment, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, talent development, and employee engagement.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, the HR Manager will be responsible for aligning HR strategy with business goals, driving a high-performance culture, and overseeing all aspects of HR operations. This is a broad and impactful role with both strategic and operational responsibilities.


Your new role

  • Partnering with senior leaders to shape and deliver HR strategy
  • Leading HR operations including payroll, recruitment, training, and employee relations
  • Managing a small HR team and supporting HR activity across European offices
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Overseeing compensation and benefits, including annual salary and bonus reviews
  • Designing and delivering training programmes for managers and staff
  • Promoting employee well-being and a positive workplace culture


What you'll need to succeed

  • CIPD qualification and ideally a degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive HR management experience within Financial Services or a regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR governance
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience supporting international HR operations is advantageous
