HR Business Partner, Permanent Job, Edinburgh location, Hybrid

You will join a global Technology solutions company within their Edinburgh office as the HR Business Partner for the UK.

Your new role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The role serves as a trusted consultant to management on human resource-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related business needs, develops integrated solutions, and delivers value-added service to management and employees.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in an HR Specialist or HR Business Partner role. This position could also be suitable for a Senior HR Advisor or specialist looking to move into a Junior Business Partner role.

Within this post, the key areas of focus will include employee engagement, resolution of employee relations issues, talent development programmes, recruitment and retention and L&D.

Key experience required for this position includes -

  • An established understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and regulations
  • Proficiency in HR software
  • Exposure to HR analytics and reporting tools
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and trends
  • Familiarity with change management principles
