Senior HR Business Partner - London City (2 Days in Office) – Permanent

Location: London City
Salary Range: £70,000–£85,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Full Benefits Package
Work Pattern: Hybrid (2 days WFH), Minimal Travel


Your new company
Working for a prestigious global law firm, you’ll be joining a business that is actively elevating its HR Business Partnering capabilities. With a strong focus on commercial impact and performance, this company is investing in strategic HR talent to support 2 various client groups. You’ll support a diverse stakeholder group including partners & supporting functions.

Your new role
This role has scope to grow into a Senior Manager position, offering a strong trajectory for the right candidate. With a newly formed CoE function to support, you’ll focus on
Commercial partnering, performance, and talent strategy.

You’ll be expected to:
  • Operate independently and drive performance-led HR initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand commercial goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitate HR strategy that is commercially focused, not just process-driven.
  • Demonstrate clear business impact through your work.
  • Lead HR initiatives that support strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive engagement and development.
  • Reduce reliance on ER casework and focus on business impact.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in professional services, financial services or FTSE250 environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate the business value of HR initiatives – you will have to showcase this on your CV with ROI & Commercial impacts.
  • Experience working in complex partnership environments.
  • Ability to work autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.
  • A track record of achievement and output, not just process.
