Your new role

As Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will act as a strategic partner to the Dundee leadership team, owning and delivering the full HR agenda locally while aligning closely with global HR strategy.

You will lead on all core HR activities including talent acquisition, workforce planning, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and policy design. Working closely with line managers, you will provide expert guidance, coaching and challenge to drive a high performance , employee ‑ focused culture that supports business objectives.

This role also plays a critical part in global HR initiatives, such as career architecture, engagement, change management and cultural development, while overseeing accurate HR data management, payroll collaboration and proactive absence management. You will be a trusted advisor, operationally hands on and strategically influential.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this HR Business Partner role, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources
  • CIPD qualification (desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience in HR generalist or HRBP role
  • Strong understanding of core HR functions, policies and employment legislation
  • Experience working within a matrixed, international corporate environment
  • Experience working in partnership with Trade Unions
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and support people strategy delivery
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong planning, analytical and problem ‑ solving capability
  • A proactive, hands ‑ on mindset with meticulous attention to detail
  • High level of organisation and confidence working with ambiguity
  • Competent user of MS Office, particularly Excel
