Global Senior HR Business Partner

Senior HR Business Partner – Global
Location: London, UK (2 days remote working)
Salary: £130,000–£140,000 (open-minded) + discretionary bonus + benefits
Strategic and hands-on Senior HR Business Partner to lead global people initiatives across three key practice areas. This is a high-impact global role, partnering directly with Practice Group Leaders and HR teams across the UK, Europe, and the US.
You’ll be the primary HR contact for these groups, driving alignment, transformation, and cultural change across a global footprint of ~8,000 employees. The role requires a blend of strategic HR leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a partnership environment.

About the role
  • Partner with Global Practice Group Leaders to shape and deliver a progressive people strategy.
  • Lead global HR initiatives and projects in collaboration with the Strategic HR Projects team.
  • Align HR practices across geographies, ensuring consistency and cultural relevance.
  • Drive workforce planning, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Support partner and counsel promotions, succession planning, and mobility programs.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and modern working practices.
  • Act as a connector across HR teams globally, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

About you
  • Proven experience as a Senior HRBP in a law firm, Big Four, or professional services environment.
  • Strong global HR experience, ideally across Europe and the US.
  • Comfortable operating in a partnership model with senior stakeholders at partner level.
  • Skilled in transformation, change management, and strategic HR delivery.
  • Collaborative, resilient, and commercially minded, which needs to be apparent on your CV, including your ability to demonstrate ownership and leading on projects and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience working with accountancy or consultancy firms is essential.
  • Average tenure of 3+ years across your past 10 years of employment to demonstrate that you can implement projects and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships through various programmes.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
