HR Advisor - Cambridge - £35000 - Hybrid working
An exciting permanent HR Advisor role within a successful not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making a positive impact. My client is looking for a passionate HR Advisor who is keen to make a difference, enjoys being proactive, and thrives in a true generalist HR role where their input and contribution is recognised.
HR Responsibilities:
You will have one direct report into you, an HR Administrator.
What you'll need to succeed:
You must have experience as an HR Officer / HR Advisor, who has managed low level ER cases.
You will ideally have knowledge of payroll.
You will ideally be qualified to at least level 3 of the CIPD or equivalent.
Experience supporting the implementation of HRIS would be advantageous.
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Generous Pension
Hybrid working - 3 days office based, 2 days working from home

HR Responsibilities:

- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Active involvement in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, and managing the hiring process.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of effective onboarding plans, including induction.
- Ensure all agreed training is provided and implemented throughout the year.
- Assist line managers in the performance management process.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Oversee payroll and pensions on a monthly basis.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Support with HR projects.
- Support with restructuring.
What you'll need to succeed:
