Senior HR Business Partner – Professional Services – London

We’re partnering with a prestigious professional services firm to recruit a strategic and commercially astute Senior HR Business Partner. This is a high-impact role leading the people agenda for a key client group, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness.

Embedded within a dynamic, client-facing practice group, this role offers the opportunity to influence leadership decisions and shape a people strategy that supports growth, talent development, and cultural transformation. The People team is currently undergoing a transformation to elevate its strategic offering and deliver excellence across the business — making this a pivotal time to join.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a people strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners and senior leaders.
  • Lead on talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Drive cultural and organisational change initiatives.
  • Oversee employee relations, reward cycles, and HR operations.
  • Manage and mentor a small HR team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive HR generalist experience at a senior level within a large, global HR function.
  • Recent experience (within the last 5 years) in a permanent role within top-tier Insurance, Financial Services, or Professional Services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate ROI and commercial impact (this must be clearly evidenced on your CV).

Location: London (hybrid working available - 2 days a week in the City

Salary: £90,000–£120,000 base + bonus + pension + excellent benefits
