HR Advisor
HR Advisor – Carmarthen | £20.66 | Temporary
I’m working with a public sector client in West Wales who’s looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. The role is based at their main office, but you’ll need to travel around the region regularly.
You’ll be the go-to person for HR queries in your area, helping managers and staff with things like recruitment, absence, performance, and day-to-day advice. You’ll also support the wider HR team with projects, training, and keeping things running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Giving clear, practical advice on HR issues
- Helping managers deal with things like absence, discipline, and performance
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding
- Keeping records up to date and making sure everything’s in line with current rules
- Sharing knowledge with the team and helping improve how things are done
- Getting involved in training, events, and updating internal materials
- Occasionally helping with investigations and appeals
What they’re looking for:
- Solid HR experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of UK employment law
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Confident working with people at all levels
- Happy to travel across the region
- CIPD or similar experience preferred
