HR Advisor, Belfast, Permanent

Your new company

As the HR Advisor, you will be joining a leading provider of engineering services to provide a full generalist HR service to the Belfast site.

Your new role

As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:

•Working with the company to provide effective and timely HR advice and support on all people-related matters, ensuring guidance is in line with employment law and best practice.

•Supporting the embedding, practice and recognition award of company behaviours

•Responding to HR queries and managing all aspects of HR issues across the employee lifecycle.

•Coaching and building capability in line managers to manage the employment relationship effectively and guiding managers on company policies and procedures.

•Proactively maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and new employment legislation

•Support the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures

•Guiding and supporting managers with end-to-end case management for all employee-related cases, ensuring appropriate application of employment law consideration and approach and timely closure of such cases.

•Coordinating and participating in monthly case reviews with the HR Team to identify key themes for improvement and identification of issues and trends within the business.

•Supporting change initiatives, including acquisitions, restructures, redundancies, TUPE, redeployment and office closures

•Working with the respective HR Business Partner to provide commercially focused advice and support to Managers on all Employee Relations issues.

•Working closely with the HR Shared Service team to ensure the business receives an efficient and high-quality service

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in the role of HR Advisor you will need:

•HR degree educated (or related field qualification equivalent), or equivalent experience. CIPD status (Associate member minimum

•Commitment to continuous professional development

•Strong experience as a HR Advisor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, tailored HR Support. Must have significant practical experience of managing complex employee relations and demonstrable experience of handling employment law related matters of medium to high complexity.

•Demonstrable success working within HR in different organisations/sectors in a fast-paced environment

•Must have an up-to-date understanding of employment law and HR Best Practice.

•Demonstrable experience in the delivery of strategic projects and initiatives with experience of delivering change in complex and demanding environments
