Your new role

As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their tenancies and progress in their personal recovery journey. You will visit tenants in their homes, offering tailored advice on housing and benefits, and helping them navigate the support systems available to them.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to tenants, many of whom may have experienced homelessness, mental health challenges, or substance misuse.
  • Assisting tenants in understanding and following their individual support plans.
  • Signposting and referring customers to appropriate services to ensure they receive the help they need.
  • Working collaboratively with external agencies and internal teams to promote tenancy sustainability and personal wellbeing.
This role requires empathy, resilience, and a commitment to empowering individuals to achieve greater independence and stability in their lives.

What you'll need to succeed
