Freelance Site Manager Required on Care Homes Project in Fortrose
Your new company
You will be working for a well-established specialist contractor based in the Highlands, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction and fit-out projects across the North of Scotland. They are currently undertaking an extension to an operational care home in Fortrose and require an experienced freelance Site Manager to support delivery on site.
Your new role
As a freelance Site Manager, you will take day-to-day responsibility for managing the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality. You will coordinate subcontractors, oversee site operations, manage health & safety compliance, and liaise closely with the wider project team and client representatives while working within a live care home environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong Site Management experience on construction or refurbishment projects
- Previous experience working on live or occupied environments (care home or healthcare beneficial)
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety regulations
- Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programmes independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
