Your new company

Our client based in Lanarkshire is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team for Winter Gritting between November-March. Weekly standby rates & call out rates.

Your new role

You’ll be driving the Winter Gritters to treat roads during icy and snowy conditions. You’ll follow planned routes and respond to call-outs when needed. Shifts include nights and weekends.

Main duties include:

• Operating HGV Class 2 gritting vehicles
• Carrying out vehicle checks
• Completing basic paperwork
• Working flexibly across shifts

What you'll need to succeed

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence & CPC
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Previous experience is helpful but not essential

What you'll get in return
