Your New Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver dynamic, well‑structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 teaching depending on experience. You will bring the curriculum to life through inquiry‑led learning, strong geographical enquiry skills and real‑world application.This full‑time temporary role (Monday–Friday) includes:
Planning and delivering high‑quality, curriculum‑aligned Geography lessons
Using assessment effectively to track progress and support student achievement
Preparing learners for GCSE examinations and internal assessments
Contributing to fieldwork planning, enrichment activities and curriculum development
Upholding the school’s behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion policies
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, you will be joining a supportive team that values creativity, reflective practice and shared success.
What You’ll Need to Exceed
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
QTS/QTLS (PGCE, Geography specialism or equivalent route)
Recent experience teaching Geography within a secondary setting
Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering engaging, enquiry‑based lessons
Excellent classroom management and commitment to high expectations
A reflective mindset, enthusiasm for continuous development and inclusive practice
An Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to obtain)
ECTs warmly encouraged to apply – mentoring and developmental support provided.
