• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds, reporting any safety, security, or maintenance concerns.
• Perform minor repairs and installations to furniture, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
• Maintain the external appearance of buildings, including car parks and landscaped areas.
• Carry out basic checks and operation of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting).
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and service queries.
• Monitor and liaise with contractors working on behalf of the Facilities Department.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained.
• Uphold all Health & Safety procedures and report any issues promptly.
• Act as a designated First Aider and Fire Marshal (training provided)

• Proven experience in a similar multi-trade facilities or maintenance role.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• A positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to travel between sites as required.
• Basic DBS clearance (can be obtained whilst working)
