Site manager, Northampton based, £60,000-£70,000 + Package. Industrial build experience needed

Your new company
A well‑established industrial construction specialist delivering large‑scale steel-frame builds, ground-up industrial developments, and complex warehouse refurbishments across the Midlands and wider UK. The business transforms greenfield sites into fully operational industrial facilities and undertakes full refurbishment of existing steel-frame buildings, including cladding replacement and structural upgrades. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong industrial background.

Your new role

As Site Manager, you will oversee multiple industrial construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. You will manage steel-frame builds from foundations through to cladding and roofing, coordinate groundworks including drainage and concrete slabs, and lead refurbishment programmes on existing industrial warehouses. You will be based centrally in the Midlands, with projects typically around Northampton, but you must be comfortable travelling to sites across the region. Where possible, projects will be aligned to your home location.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Extensive experience in industrial steel-frame construction
  • Proven background delivering greenfield-to-industrial-site developments
  • Strong knowledge of groundwork, drainage, concrete foundations, and slab construction
  • Experience refurbishing industrial buildings, including cladding strip-and-replacement and steel-frame repairs
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, and multiple trades
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence overseeing fast-moving industrial sites
  • Flexibility to travel across the Midlands and wider UK when required

    What you'll get in return
  • Competitive salary of £60,000–£70,000 depending on experience
  • Opportunity to work on major industrial build and refurbishment projects
  • Supportive team environment with long-term progression opportunities
  • Mileage/travel support and consistent project pipeline
