Your new role

• Operate, maintain and carry out minor repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and handheld grounds‑maintenance equipment.
• Establish, maintain and improve shrub beds, grassed areas and landscaped spaces, including planting, pruning, mulching and reseeding.
• Remove litter, debris and fly‑tipped materials from hard surfaces, green areas and waterways.
• Safely apply chemicals, pesticides and weed‑killers in line with COSHH procedures.
• Load, unload and transport equipment, materials and waste as required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in compliance with Health & Safety legislation and risk assessments.
• Accurately complete job records using paperwork, PDAs and mobile devices within required timescales.
• Report hazards, accidents, near misses and potential public liability risks promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and customers, maintaining good relationships and supporting service delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

• A full current driving licence which includes B1+E / C1+E licence category.
• Basic Access NI cleared
