Southend City Council are currently recruiting a team of gardeners/ maintenance to assist the Parks Operations in undertaking maintenance work on the public and sports areas.

Your new role

Join the Parks Department to assist with the ground's maintenance work, within the sports area. The team are seeking candidates to join them in a long-term contract position with full-time hours (37 hours per week). Hours of work can vary, but Saturday and Sunday work is essential.

You will be working in the vicinity of this site to carry out your day’s work. This could include working on the highways.

Experience in manual work, a driving licence is essential and a can-do approach.
