Hays Education is working in partnership with a wide network of primary schools across Sheffield to recruit experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). Whether you're seeking long-term placements or flexible day-to-day supply work, we have roles to suit your availability and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons and support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Lead small group interventions and whole-class activities.
- Collaborate with teachers to support pupil progress and classroom management.
- Adapt to different school environments and student needs.
Essential Requirements
- HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 40 days’ experience working with children in the last two years.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Willingness to complete a full DBS check.
