IT Procurement Manager - Remote (Occasional Travel) - up to £70,000

Your new company

You will be working for a leading facilities management service provider with an annual turnover in excess of £20b. With a global procurement team exceeding 800 heads, you will be joining a global powerhouse with ambitious growth and transformation plans.


Your new role

You will be working as an IT Category Manager, sitting within a UK procurement team of 56. This role will report into the Senior IT Category Manager and be responsible for a wide range of projects across this organisation’s different service offerings. Projects are wide and varied, from CCTV and frictionless shopping to ERP and Cloud storage transformation projects. You will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to understand business requirements and effectively translate these needs into innovative solutions that meet a wide range of needs. This role will be largely home based, with occasional travel to offices in London and Hertfordshire.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have experience in full e2e procurement of IT software and services. This is a highly varied role with exciting and unique challenges. As such, the ability to effectively work within ambiguity is vital to allow you to fully tackle this role. You should be a strong and effective communicator who is happy to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver complex projects. An ability to create and implement long-term strategic plans is required for this role, and you should be able to demonstrate experience doing this.


What you'll get in return

You will be entitled to a competitive base salary dependent on experience of up to £70,000 p/a. This role also allows remote working with occasional travel to offices in London and Hertfordshire (once/twice a month).
