Your new role
As a Geography Teacher, you’ll play a key role in helping students understand the world around them—its people, places, and processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience).
- Bringing topics to life through real-world case studies, interactive activities, and fieldwork opportunities.
- Encouraging critical thinking about global issues such as climate change, sustainability, and urban development.
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and respect.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop resources and contribute to the wider Humanities department.
