We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Gateman to work on a busy new build housing development in Whalley. This is a key role on site, responsible for managing access, ensuring site safety, and maintaining an organised entrance/exit point.

Your new role

• Controlling access to the site (vehicles, workers, deliveries, and visitors)
• Checking and logging deliveries and ensuring correct unloading areas
• Managing traffic flow in and out of the site safely
• Maintaining site security at the gate
• Signing visitors in and out in line with site procedures
• Liaising with site management and trades
• Keeping the entrance area clean and tidy
• Ensuring all health & safety protocols are followed at all times

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Gateman / Traffic Marshall on construction sites
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Traffic Marshal / Banksman ticket (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good awareness of health & safety on site
