Frontend Developer - React, AngularJS
Front‑End Developer (Legacy AngularJS Modernisation)
This role will be up to £500p/d inside IR35.
Overview
We are seeking a Front‑End Developer to rebuild and modernise legacy applications currently written in AngularJS. The role focusses on understanding existing codebases and delivering clean, modern front‑end solutions using React JS.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and understand existing AngularJS applications.
- Rebuild or migrate apps using React.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and maintainable UI components based on a design system.
- Integrate front‑end features with backend APIs.
- Ensure code quality through testing and documentation.
- Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Working knowledge of AngularJS and migration challenges.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with REST APIs and front‑end build tools.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and version control.
