Hays are seeking an experienced and analytical Interim FP&A Analyst to join a growing organisation in Truro. This is a key role created due to recent business expansion, offering the opportunity to make a real impact by improving financial processes and enhancing data-driven decision-making.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing our business intelligence capabilities, with a strong focus on financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional with a passion for data and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the business intelligence database by consolidating data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability across financial systems.
- Conduct statistical analysis and interpret key performance metrics to generate actionable insights.
- Translate complex data into clear, meaningful recommendations for stakeholders.
- Design and deliver compelling reports, dashboards, and visual presentations using Excel and Power BI.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial analysis.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes and analysis techniques.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in FP&A or a similar financial analysis role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI (ideally but not essential).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Available to start immediately and commit to a minimum 6-month.
- Comfortable working 3 days per week on-site in Truro.
