Food Technology Teacher – Permanent Role
Location: Coventry & Warwickshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a successful and supportive secondary school in the Coventry & Warwickshire area from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable), helping students develop essential life skills and a love for the subject.

✅ Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Plan, prepare and assess students’ work effectively
  • Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students in developing practical cooking skills and theoretical knowledge
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development

The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent UK secondary school teaching experience
  • Specialises in Food Technology / Design & Technology
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
  • Passionate about student progress and achievement
  • Able to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
