Job Title: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £120 - £230 per day. Dependent on experience.
Contract Type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Start Date:September 2025

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across the years. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love for food, nutrition, and culinary skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective food technology lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

Requirements
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
•A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
•Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.
•Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
•Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
