This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver engaging and practical lessons that spark creativity and promote healthy living amongst students aged 11–16.
Your New Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, practical lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment in the food tech classroom.
- Encourage students to develop essential life skills and a passion for food and nutrition.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism or strong experience in teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4.
- A creative and engaging teaching style with strong classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
