SENDCo / Teacher – Full-Time Temporary Role (Bradford)
Location: Bradford Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (5 days/week) Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Your New Role:
As SENDCo, you will lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school. You’ll be responsible for identifying and supporting students with additional needs, coordinating interventions, and working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies. This role requires a proactive and empathetic leader who can champion inclusive practices and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing the SEND register and EHCP processes
  • There will be a teaching load of approximately eight lessons per week made up of some KS4 health and social care and small
    lower ability group Unit Award KS4 groups.
  • Leading and supporting staff in delivering high-quality differentiated teaching
  • Liaising with external professionals and agencies
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of SEND interventions
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice
To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Proven experience working with children with SEND
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A solution-focused mindset and commitment to inclusive education
