Religious Studies Teacher required for the winter term

We are currently supporting a large secondary school in the North of Liverpool with the recruitment of a Religious studies teacher to initially cover the winter term but with the potential of the reminder of the academic year. The school offers KS3 & KS4 and you would be joining a community school that has a strong and supportive senior leadership team. The humanities department is very established, so you would be part of a team with lots of support and resources.

Your new role
Religious Education teacher, teaching KS3 & KS4 to pupils. Planning & Delivering engaging lessons and ensuring the pupils are on task and achieving outcomes in every lesson.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons in the absence of the class teacher that meets the needs of all students.
- Follow the schools rewards and behaviour policy.
- Be flexible and willing to support across the school in different departments
Qualifications
- A degree in Religious studies / education or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching at secondary school level.
Skills
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for working with young people
- Strong classroom management skills.
- The ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
