We are currently recruiting Supply Teachers to join our team in Barnstaple and the surrounding North Devon area for the new academic year starting September 2025. With opportunities available from 1 to 5 days per week, you can choose a schedule that suits your lifestyle.
About the Role:
As a supply teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education in local schools. You’ll step into a variety of classroom settings, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students in their learning. This is a fantastic way to gain experience across different year groups and school environments, while enjoying the flexibility of choosing when and where you work.

Location: Barnstaple and surrounding areas in North Devon
Start Date: September 2025 (with potential for earlier registration and induction)
⏰ Working Pattern: Flexible – from 1 to 5 days per week - Choose the days that work for you – perfect for part-time availability or full-time supply

✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent teaching experience in UK schools (preferred but not essential)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
