Your new role
You’ll lead the delivery of a wide-ranging financial services portfolio, including Pension Fund Asset Management, Treasury and Investment Management, Banking Operations, and Centralised Payment and Income Control. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll oversee the governance and administration of Pension Funds, manage relationships with investment managers and actuaries, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. You’ll represent the organisation on national boards, lead strategic financial planning, and act as the organisation's Money Laundering Reporting Officer. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for service performance, policy development, and financial risk management.
What you'll need to succeed
- Full membership of a CCAB Institute or equivalent professional body
- Substantial post-qualification experience in pension fund, treasury, and banking services
- Proven leadership in managing staff, resources, and complex financial operations
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and project planning capabilities
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to advise on sensitive and complex financial matters
- Experience working in multidisciplinary or partnership environments
- Commitment to continuous professional development and financial governance
- Adaptability, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset
