Ready to step up into a high‑impact Financial Controller role? A leading data & technology division is looking for a sharp, commercially minded finance professional to gain financial control, forecasting and performance insight across a multi‑million‑pound business.
Your new role
- Lead financial control, management accounting and divisional reporting
- Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders
- Own forecasting, budgeting, scenario modelling, and KPI reporting.
- Review complex revenue recognition under US GAAP
- Oversee month-end close, key judgements, reconciliations and controls
- Manage and develop a team of five finance professionals
- Support system improvements, data accuracy and MI enhancements
- Act as a key contact for internal and external audit processes
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA (or equivalent) qualified
- Strong commercial mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading or developing junior team members (must have experience managing more than 3)
- Confident working with ambiguity, complex contracts and judgemental areas
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
