Financial Controller required for a globally recognised Financial Services PLC in Manchester
Your new company
Your new company are a globally recognised financial services PLC based in Manchester City Centre. Due to another impressive period they now require a brand new team of Financial Controll and Reporting Manager
Your new role
In your new role as Financial Control & Reporting Manager you’ll be responsible for the delivery and integrity of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information. This will include balance sheet, profit and loss account, and internal and external reporting. You’ll also prepare statutory accounts for your business area’s legal entities and prepare management accounts, analysis and assist in the delivery of budgeting and forecasting. Along with this, you’ll act as a key partner as you proactively contribute to decision making on complex or specialist issues, demonstrating judgement and a thorough understanding of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant – ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Full Accreditation or with an equivalent level of experience. Experience of working within large complex businesses and familiar with producing high quality, well controlled outputs. Process improvement, change management and controls experience in a complex global environment. Experience working within a regulatory environment is preferential but not essential.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary up to £55,000 along with a 10% bonus and pension. You will work a hybrid model which consists of 3 days a week at home and 2 days a week in the office.
