Your new role

As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial governance and driving operational excellence. Leading a team of six, you’ll be responsible for enhancing financial processes, controls, and reporting across the UK business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Developing and embedding robust financial controls and process improvements
  • Preparing management accounts, board reporting, and statutory submissions
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles with clear financial analysis
  • Coaching and developing a high-performing finance team

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise and experience in financial control within a complex, multi-entity environment. A background in infrastructure, construction, or industrial services is required. You’ll be confident managing teams, improving processes, and partnering with senior stakeholders.
