The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute and hands-on Financial Controller to lead our finance function and support strategic decision-making across the business. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to shape financial processes, drive performance, and partner with operational teams to deliver business success.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting.
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a similar role, ideally within agriculture, FMCG, or manufacturing.
- Strong technical accounting skills and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in financial systems and Excel; experience with Xero or similar ERP systems is desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Ledbury and engage with operational teams.
