Manufacturing | Financial Controller up to £70k, with development opportunities
Hays Senior Finance are exclusively retained in the search for a Financial Controller to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a pivotal leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting systems.
- Partner with operational teams to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
- Deliver timely and accurate management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Support strategic decision-making with insightful financial analysis.
You will need:
- Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
- Proven experience in a UK manufacturing environment with strong financial control expertise.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and change management.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business.
- The right to work in the UK without expiry is essential.
- A driving licence and access to transport is required for the location of the organisation.
