As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational financial management of the College. Reporting directly to the Vice Principal of Finance and Corporate Services, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and funding requirements.
- Providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Managing internal and external audit processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role. You’ll bring:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrative experience of working effectively in a team
