With a strong reputation for excellence and a forward-thinking approach, the College is seeking a talented and experienced Financial Controller to join its team on a part-time basis - offering a fantastic opportunity to develop fiscal acumen in a senior position whilst guaranteeing a healthy work-life balance. Your new role
As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational financial management of the College. Reporting directly to the Vice Principal of Finance and Corporate Services, you will be responsible for:


  • Leading the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and funding requirements.
  • Providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Managing internal and external audit processes.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role. You’ll bring:


  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrative experience of working effectively in a team
