We are currently working in partnership with a leading construction company for the appointment of a Financial Controller offering a competitive salary and benefits.
This is a maternity cover role with a good chance of contract extension, with an immediate start depending on the candidate's availability.
The role will be managing the production of the accounts across the wider business.

- Working with the Finance Director to plan and sustain the company’s long-term business and operational goals.
- Offer robust commercial insights and support on various strategic and operational matters.
- Production for month-end and year-end closing.
- Oversee comprehensive financial management, including cash flow management by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing contract cash flows.
- Prepare necessary data for budgeting and forecasting based on current contract performance, market conditions, and commercial information, including anticipated improvements.
- Prepare and submit all tax requirements, including PAYE, CIS, VAT, and Corporation Tax.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with proven management experience in a commercial environment. You will have experience of presenting financial information at senior level.
