Credit Controller - Imminent start - Antrim £negotiable

Your new company

Hays Accountancy and Finance are working with a client to support them in their Finance function within Credit Control to cover maternity leave.

Your new role

•Assist Finance with invoice and payment processes
•Accurately receipt and allocate payments to ledger
•Process statements
•Data entry into the systems
•Proactively manage the debtor’s ledger, ensuring debts are collected within agreed credit terms
•Monitor outstanding debts via telephone, email and letter
•Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
•Reduce debtor days and debtor balances
•Posting and allocating payments on to SAGE accounts
•Assist with reconciliations, month-end processes and financial reports
•Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries in a timely manner

What you'll need to succeed
•Recent experience in a finance / credit control setting or similar role
•Ability to work effectively and without direct supervision.
•Conscientious and reliable.
