Finance officer vacancy within a high school setting in Runcorn

This is a great opportunity to join a great high school in Runcorn. Hays education are proudly supporting a fantastic school with the recruitment of a finance officer to join a busy office team on a long-term basis with immediate and January start available.Your new role
Your daily duties will include, but will not be limited too;
- Responsible for the day to day operations of finance department, working alongside a finance assistant
- Understanding and working knowledge of processing of orders, invoices, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliations and authorisations
- Ability to problem-solve and challenge billing
- Budget monitoring
- Ability to operate finance packages – (PSF or equivalent), SIMS, School Comms, Cashless Catering systems
- Processing of Income invoices, reconciliation of income received.
- Oversee processing of payroll input
