Your new company

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established and expanding organisation operating within the operational services industry. The company is recognised for its commitment to operational excellence, strategic growth, and a collaborative working culture. With a strong regional presence and a focus on continuous improvement, this organisation offers a dynamic environment, where finance plays a central role in shaping business performance and supporting long term success.

Your new role

As Finance Manager, you will take on a senior leadership role within the finance function, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director. You will be responsible for managing the organisation’s treasury operations, including cashflow forecasting, banking relationships, and finance agreements. You will oversee tax compliance and ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting, while also leading budgeting and forecasting processes across the business. The role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders to deliver insightful financial analysis, support audits, and drive improvements in reporting systems. You will also play a key role in supporting operational teams, training non-financial managers, and contributing to strategic decision making at executive level.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant, or possess substantial relevant experience in a senior finance position. You will bring strong experience in finance or accounting, ideally within asset-heavy or operationally complex sectors. A strong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting is essential, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be confident in engaging with senior stakeholders, presenting financial insights, and influencing decision-making. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are key. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office tools is expected, along with a proactive and commercially aware mindset.

What you'll get in return

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy within a respected and growing organisation. You will benefit from a collaborative and supportive working environment, direct access to senior leadership, and the chance to lead meaningful improvements in financial processes and reporting. The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
