Senior Finance Business Analyst | Lloyd’s Market Insurer | c.£550/day | London

• Lead business analysis activity across financial change initiatives and transformation projects
• Elicit, document and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Map current and future state finance processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Support finance system development, including Workday and other finance platforms
• Play a key role in UAT and regression testing, ensuring successful delivery of system enhancements
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to drive change delivery
• Support the delivery of technical close improvements and reporting enhancements
• Develop tracking tools, reporting dashboards and delivery frameworks to ensure project progress
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and controls
What you'll need to succeed
• Strong experience as a Finance Business Analyst within the insurance / Lloyd’s market
• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience supporting finance transformation, system implementation or change programmes
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including reporting and close cycles
• Experience in process mapping (current vs future state) and gap analysis
• Hands-on experience with UAT, system testing and change delivery frameworks (Agile / SDLC / PRINCE2)
• Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel/data handling skills
• A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive improvements
