Hays Senior Finance is delighted to be partnering with an organisation during a time of continued growth to recruit a Finance Director on an interim basis.

Your new role

As finance director, you will be leading a finance team with a commercial outset, making decisions to drive business perfomance. In this role you will be a key compartment to the overall success of the organisation. As Finance Director you will be leading an efficient and cost-effective finance operation, be able to provide sound financial advice to the wider business as well as contributing to wider business issues.

Main responsibilities include;

• Leadership of the finance department ensuring optimal performance whilst supporting with achieving this
• Support business plans through financial planning and forecasting
• Identifying potential issues and resolving them that may impact business
• Full responsibility for financial reporting
• Manage payment processing
• Implementation of group IT policy
• Ensure the department is compliant with organisation financial regulations
• Reporting to stakeholders across the wider business

What you'll need to succeed

• A professional finance qualification

• Demonstrable experience in a commercial finance role at a similar level of seniority

• Excellent analysis skills

• Experience of managing budgets and the ability to plan to meet targets

• Strong leadership skills
