Your new role

Our client is seeking a qualified finance professional with a can-do attitude who has prior experience operating as a Finance Business Partner within an FP&A team. You will be providing financial support for a specific business unit and providing robust control of the business P&Ls from an actuals, planning, and reporting perspective and reporting in to the Divisional Finance Director. This role is initially on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • Working with the wider finance team to provide financial management information to the business unit.
  • Work alongside the heads of business and sales across multiple sites, to build robust forecasting models in relation to revenue and expenses.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles, as well as long-term strategic planning
  • Reporting on monthly P&L's and providing insight and commentary to senior leadership.
  • Assist in ad hoc financial analysis on various products, sales initiatives and customer engagement.
  • Supporting the monthly payroll review process.
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours between Monday and Friday. Hybrid and flexible working are both available for the right candidate.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally, you will be a fully qualified accountant.
  • Ability to analyse complex financial data, identify patterns and extract meaningful insights.
  • Ability to interpret and explain financial data to a non-financial audience.
  • Willingness to take ownership and be adaptable to change in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Ability to think strategically, aligning financial plans to the company’s strategic priorities and offering insights and recommendations to help achieve long-term objectives.
  • Ability to inspire confidence, exhibit a professional presence and to have the ability to lead and influence others.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels and ability to establish credibility with senior management.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, within an international environment, in a global matrix structure.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools
