I am delighted to be working with a Sheffield based client looking to appoint a proactive and personable Finance Business Partner. Your new role

As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll provide valuable analysis and reporting to help the business spot risks and opportunities, while supporting managers with confident decision-making. You’ll take ownership of preparing and presenting budgets and forecasts, ensuring they are accurate and reliable, and work closely with different areas of the business to guide performance.
  • Play a key role in the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and providing clear variance analysis.
  • Partner with business managers to prepare and present budgets and forecasts, helping shape future plans.
  • Provide insightful reporting on overhead spend, developing systems to track and control costs while identifying efficiencies.
  • Support the wider business strategy by offering advice and information that helps managers make confident decisions.
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring they are effective and sustainable as the business grows
What you'll need to succeed
  • A confident communicator who can explain financial information in a clear, engaging way.
  • Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel and excellent presentation abilities.
  • A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or QBE).
  • A personable approach, collaborative, and motivated to add value beyond the numbers.
