Your new role

Reporting to the finance director, this is a temporary job working within the property team. Duties will include:

• Develop a reporting regime for monitoring the financial performance of the Property Directorate (including capital component replacement and repairs).
• Hold regular budget holder finance meetings and produce and distribute monthly directorate management information and reports, including KPI’s, forecasts and commentary.
• Attend monthly senior operational management meetings, including presenting findings to the Director of the service for discussion.
• Complete financial planning tasks incorporating annual budget setting, along with the production of a budget submission report for each budget holder, and assisting with the production of medium and long-term business plans.
• Provide business support services including data analysis, training, procedures and ad-hoc queries.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of communicating complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders

• Ability to see the big picture and align financial plans for long-term goals.

• Proficient in financial systems and data visualisation tools, financial modelling
