Finance Business Partner Role - Remote/office Hybrid - Manufacturing Group - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering exclusively with a leading & successful manufacturing group to recruit a dynamic & driven Finance Business Partner to join their growing team in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. A permanent opportunity where you will act as a strategic advisor, delivering data-driven insights and financial analysis to support business-critical decision-making. The position will offer remote/office hybrid working, along with a competitive benefits package & progression opportunities. Ideally, you will be fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with strong business partnering experience within a fast-paced environment, finalist & part-qualified studiers will also be considered. Your new role

Your key duties will involve business partnering with a range of internal stakeholders, including Marketing, IT & Development, to manage departmental budgets & forecasts. Conduct variance analysis to monitor budget performance & provide relevant recommendations. You will support internal teams/management with the launch of new products, providing financial insight & guidance on profitability to assist in driving an acceptable return on investments. You will support the implementation of post-investment appraisals, including reconciliations to understand how/why project returns might differ from original plans. You will lead the preparation/consolidation of monthly forecasts, collaborating with finance colleagues to gather relevant data/insights. You will be the lead financial support for capital planning processes, ensuring spending stays in-line with agreed limits, develop/deliver detailed financial reports for leadership with key performance indications, along with seeking continuous improvement on processes/systems. You will support senior financial management by mentoring junior finance team members, promoting best practice in business partnering & related processes.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this fast-paced & progressive Finance Business Partner role, you will need experience in a similar position, ideally qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or near completion of your accounting qualification. You will have key communication skills to build internal/external relationships at all levels with both non-financial & financial management, excellent analytical skills, with strong MS Excel. You will be able to work to tight deadlines; key financial systems experience, & be used to being adaptable to business needs. You will have the ability to balance technical expertise with commercial insights & always be looking to continuously improve. You will be willing to learn & develop, a team player who can inspire/support junior team members when required. Experience within SAP & within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous but not essential.

What you'll get in return

This permanent Finance Business Partner role offers a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependable on experience based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
