• Identify budget risk areas and develop financial models to help budget holders manage budgets effectively.
• Provide forecasting models and advice for budget holders.
• Ensure compliance with Financial Regulations and Contract Standing Orders.
• Maximise income sources and optimise collection systems.
• Assist with special projects and statutory reporting.
• Deliver formal financial training across the organisation.
• Prepare information for elected members and the public on financial matters.
• Respond to internal audit reports and take appropriate actions.
• Stay informed about changing financial regimes and government legislation.

• A recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Exposure to public sector finance and understanding of government regulations.
