Our client are a prestigious educational institution located in Manchester looking for a Finance Officer to join on temporary basis until Apr 2025. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team within an organization that values growth and excellence.

Your new role

As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in the finance team. You will be responsible for p roviding financial administrative support including:

• Regular monitoring of transactions and reconciliation of supplier accounts

  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Preparations of journals
  • Analysis of income and expenditure variances
  • Preparation of financial reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed

You will have:

• Experience of working in an accounting environment or with financial processes/systems, ideally within a large organisation
• Experience of providing excellent customer service including demonstrating an ability to deal with a wide range of colleagues
• Knowledge of the Oracle Financials (Desirable)
• Ability to work independently and
• Excellent verbal and written communications
