Hays is delighted to have partnered with one of Scotland’s public sector bodies to appoint a finance manager to lead their finance function, reporting to the Head of Governance & Performance, in an attempt to maintain public trust, maximise financial value and support the timely delivery of strategic objectives.

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience of leading a team and developing staff
- Strong background in financial strategy and policy development
- Expertise in budget setting, management, monitoring and reporting
- Experience of preparing statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
- Proficiency in overseeing financial transactions, controls and reporting systems.
- Track record of improving financial processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Qualified accountant with full professional membership of a CCAB accountancy body.
