The Finance Systems team is at the heart of strategic planning, leveraging cutting-edge platforms such as Anaplan to deliver robust business planning, forecasting, and performance management solutions. Candidates will find themselves in a dynamic environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your new role

As a Finance Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying complex Anaplan models across the Finance function. The role involves facilitating user story workshops, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and leading user acceptance testing and training sessions. The Finance Analyst will use their expertise to streamline planning workflows, improve system performance, and resolve issues within existing models. They will also support seamless data integration with key business systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, and build intuitive dashboards and reports to support both day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making. Staying up to date with the latest Anaplan trends and technologies is essential to ensure that their solutions remain best-in-class.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have hands-on experience building Anaplan models and at least two years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis. A Certified Anaplan Model Builder (Level 1 or higher) qualification is required, and holding Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner status is a strong advantage. Applicants should possess knowledge of the Anaplan Integrated Finance Planning Application, a solid understanding of multi-dimensional modelling, agile methodologies, and Anaplan best practices. Advanced Excel model building skills are essential, and experience with reporting systems such as Qlik or Power BI will be beneficial. Exceptional communication skills are required, as is the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is necessary, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is also vital.

What you'll get in return

In addition to a competitive market salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including a generous pension scheme, private Bupa healthcare, life insurance, income protection, and access to a wide range of employee-funded options such as dental insurance, gym discounts, and company Electric Car Scheme. With 34 days annual leave, flexible public holiday arrangements, and enhanced family leave policies, the role offers excellent work-life balance.
You’ll be joining a dynamic, future-thinking organisation where innovation is encouraged and continuous learning is part of everyday life, making it an ideal opportunity to grow your career and make a meaningful impact.
