Your new role
As a Finance Analyst, you’ll play a
pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying complex Anaplan models
across the Finance function. The role involves facilitating user story
workshops, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and leading
user acceptance testing and training sessions. The Finance Analyst will use
their expertise to streamline planning workflows, improve system performance,
and resolve issues within existing models. They will also support seamless data
integration with key business systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, and build
intuitive dashboards and reports to support both day-to-day operations and
strategic decision-making. Staying up to date with the latest Anaplan trends
and technologies is essential to ensure that their solutions remain
best-in-class.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have hands-on experience building Anaplan
models and at least two years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
A Certified Anaplan Model Builder (Level 1 or higher) qualification is
required, and holding Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner status is a
strong advantage. Applicants should possess knowledge of the Anaplan Integrated
Finance Planning Application, a solid understanding of multi-dimensional
modelling, agile methodologies, and Anaplan best practices. Advanced Excel
model building skills are essential, and experience with reporting systems such
as Qlik or Power BI will be beneficial. Exceptional communication skills are
required, as is the ability to work effectively with both technical and
non-technical stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is
necessary, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and
dynamic environment is also vital.
