Your new role:
As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of the financial operations of the organisation. Your duties will include:
As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of the financial operations of the organisation. Your duties will include:
- Preparing financial statements
- Conducting ad hoc financial analysis
- Ensure the maintenance of the finance system and ensuring that all data inputted is accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Preparing payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Reconciliations of supplier statements
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- You will work closely with various departments and be expected to build strong relationships with external stakeholders.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Qualified in or studying for a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, AAT) is desired but not essential
- Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within the transport or public sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
